My little blog has been quite neglected lately – I am literally drowning in editing over here and doing my best to catch up – I appreciate everyone’s patience while waiting for proofs. Some of you knew that my hubby was working out of town for a few months – he is back now but taking care of the little guy by myself was a full-time job and he and I were both pretty sick recently so my editing piled up a bit while we recouped. Thankfully we are better now and I am slowly unburying myself! <\/p>\n

My time with this little family was one of my favorite recent shoots. I favor candids to posed photos and if I can capture a family interacting naturally and get photos that truly speak their love for each other then I feel I have suceeded in my job. I had so many favorites from this session I could hardly narrow down which to share. Their little beauty was a tad shy at first but warmed up in no time and had lots of fun with mom and dad <3\"\"<\/p>\n

1. Shot a first birthday party yesterday for these two little beauties<\/a> – I cannot believe how quickly that year flew by! I feel so blessed to watch this family grow and to call them friends <3 \n2. The little guy is back to being an angel in restaurants - we had a rough few months where I thought we'd never be able to take him out again! Thankfully that phase seems to have passed :)\n3. All of Christian's cute little sayings - he cracks me up daily. I really should be documenting them so I can laugh later remembering!\n4. Two new baby planners will be gracing the blog soon! If you're expecting a baby and are interested in capturing their first year be sure to ask about my first year plans for a great deal :)\n5.
