Sweet brothers take two!

I know I say this all the time but I just love my regular clients – the ones I see a few times a year and their kids recognize me and I get to watch grow. These clients are more than clients – they are friends and this family is definitely one of those families 🙂 Their littler guy just turned one a couple of months ago and we caught him on a bad day when we tried to take his portraits – and while he is adorable smiling or not, I was sure we could get some happier shots so we decided to try again and I’m so glad we did. While we didn’t nail the both boys looking and smiling shot we got some great ones of each of them and a super cute one of them laughing together so I was happy 🙂

1. I have discovered Sephora thanks to a thoughtful gift from a friend – so many fun things in there!!
2. Pirates Booty – sooo yummy and just discovered it in giant size at Costco today!
3. Christian “signed” all of our Father’s day cards tonight – too cute!
4. Huge month coming up in July – birthdays, weddings and lots of fun activities!
5. Coming home to yummy meals cooked by the hubs – love being married to a chef 🙂

1. That I love what I do – I just love watching my little clients grow and mature and I love being part of the special moments and events in people’s lives. Feel so blessed to love my job <3 2. The birth of two beautiful baby girls this weekend! 3. Lunch and pedis with a great friend that I don't see often enough 4. My brothers got to witness their team win the Stanley cup last night after many years of being season ticket holders. And the playoff beards are gone - thank goodness! 5. Celebrating some special men in my life this weekend for Father's day and remembering one more that is missed every single day

The time just flies . . .

This week I watched this little beauty graduate from preschool – in just a few months she will be off to kindergarden and she I and I met when she was not even three – she came to my Halloween minis in an adorable ladybug costume 🙂 I absolutely love watching my little subject grow up and change – it just makes me a little sad that it seems to happen so quickly.

1. My 30 random acts of kindness are underway! I decided to do it over my whole birthday month instead of cramming into one day 🙂
2. Put down a deposit for Christian’s party and finally nailed down a theme – can’t wait to celebrate my little guy in a few weeks!
3. Preschool graduation ceremonies – cutest thing ever
4. Planning a trip to the zoo for little man’s birthday – his first time!
5. Beach minis start next week! Have you booked yours yet? Just had an evening cancelation for July 21st – love the light in the evening!

1. Made it to 30! My dad swore I’d never make it to 13, then 14, then 15 etc etc 😛
2. Spent a wonderful birthday weekend with my family and boys
3. Christian did great at his first sleepover with Grandma and Papa while mommy and daddy went to Palm Springs!
4. Hubby spoiled me rotten with lots of gifts and a surprise afternoon at the spa
5. My mom made me an amazing shutterfly book with tons of pictures, school work etc from my childhood – love, love, love it!

Toes in the sand :)

I was initially supposed to meet up with these guys later in the summer when their little man was a bit bigger but they contacted me a few weeks ago and bumped it up because they were moving back to Michigan where they’re originally from. I’m sad that I won’t get to see them again but glad I got to meet this great little family and that we can keep in touch on Facebook! The little guy was not too sure about being brought to the cold beach but he did give us some great smiles once he warmed up to the idea 😉

1. Shooting two sets of beautiful twin girls this weekend – 5 years old and a few weeks old!
2. Finished up my list of random acts of kindness for Monday – can’t wait to put them in motion!
3. Actually keeping up with my blog posts for once 😉
4. Little man’s LOVE of all things cars <3 5. Excited to spend some time with my hubby this weekend and start the birthday festivities!
