Twin fun at the beach!

I normally see these little guys every August for their birthday pics so I was so sad to get an email from their mama saying we had to shoot early this year because she had gotten a fabulous job and they were moving up north. Their beautiful mama is a friend of mine from high school and has worked so hard to get where she is – working and going to school while raising twins is unimaginable to me – so while I am so happy that she and her family have this opportunity I will miss them! There have been talks of a Disney shoot next summer so I have my fingers crossed that that this won’t be my last shoot with these little cuties 🙂

3. Went in to wake up the little guy this morning and he rolled over, opened his eyes and said “cars” – obsessed much?!
4. Christian’s conversations with his Uncle Josh in the morning – love that he loves his uncles 🙂
5. My Grandma is on Facebook! Yes, you read that right – I’m still in shock myself 🙂

One of my girls :)

This beauty is my niece Megan – she was born before I graduated from high school so the older she gets the older I feel 😛 She turned 12 this year and we hadn’t taken any recent pictures of her so we got together one morning to snap a few. We don’t get to spend as much time together as I’d like – her schedule is almost as busy as mine with all of her activities and school. Luckily I see her most Sundays at my moms and she is so good with Christian – he just loves her and his “B” – my other niece Abby who is turning 5 in a few weeks and needs a turn in front of my camera soon 🙂

I have the one on the left framed big in my house – it was my favorite 🙂

1. Celebrating two years of marriage tomorrow with my love <3 It's gone by in a blur between raising the little guy and both of us working two jobs - looking forward to spending more time together the next two years :) 2. Made it through one of my busiest weekends in a long time - barely 3. Just about done with party planning - wish I could say I was the super creative, tons of details type but I'm not - hopefully C will love it anyhow :) 4. Saw four of my favorite families this weekend and met two great new ones! 5. A great talk with a good friend today that I don't get to talk to often enough - hoping to plan a trip out to see her soon!

Twins + one!

Yet another family I have had the pleasure of watching grow over the last couple of years although for some reason even though I have had them in front of my camera many times I can only find one blog post of their little guy. I haven’t always been good about posting regularly but didn’t know I had done that badly at keeping up! I also just shot a birthday party for these two little gals that was just fabulously detailed – I don’t normally post the parties I shoot because it’s too hard to narrow to a few images, but I may have to post a few once I finish editing!

Extended family fun!

Remember this little lady? I got to hang out with her again a couple weeks ago and this time she brought along the rest of her family for an extended family shoot! The little ones were a bit shy at first but once they warmed up we got tons of great shots. This session inspired me to get my own extended family shoot on the books – we haven’t taken one since before Joe and Christian were part of the family!

1. Christian has discovered the movies Cars and Cars II – which means we watch them over and over and over 😛
2. Spent the day yesterday celebrating my favorite dads <3 3. I get to meet my friend's new little princess on Friday! And of course get her in front of my camera :) 4. Rice krispie treats for dessert - yummy! 5. A successful first day of beach minis Saturday - loved seeing everyone!

Double the cuteness!

You might remember that I mentioned recently that these two little guys were expecting a couple of sisters pretty soon. They arrived a few weeks ago and are just the most precious little things – so tiny and just perfect. This family is very special to me as well – I have seen them four or five times a year for the past three years and have watched their two little guys grow from babies to such adorable, fun little boys. I am looking forward to watching their new little beauties grow too!

4. Christian asking to go to the beach – after his hatred of sand last year this mama is thrilled! I hope he maintains his enthusiasm until after our family pics in a couple weeks!
5. Christian not recognizing Uncle Josh after he shaved his playoff beard – cracks me up the way he studies him!
