Another farewell . . .

I got to hang out with these cuties again recently for baby girl’s first birthday pics. Unfortunately this was my last shoot with this sweet family as they will be packing up and moving in a few months 🙁 I am so sad that so many of my favorite families have moved away this year – I am happy that I was able to document this time in their lives though 🙂

Three!!

Remember this little sweetie?? We hung out a few weeks ago to get some three year shots and she is of course cuter than ever. We had a great time and captured lots of smiles 🙂

4. A great sale at my favorite lab – time to order some large prints of our new pics!
5. Cheese on a stick – a few thousand calories but so dang good!

1. Little man is okay after a fall on the hardwood floor tonight – just a slight fat lip 🙁
2. Great sales at Gap and Disney today – finished up some birthday shopping and got a head start on Christmas 🙂
3. Christian sings along to Old McDonald with me and does all of the animal sounds – too cute!
4. Pineapple upside down cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory – yummy 🙂

Beautiful blondies

Oh I was so happy editing these images – little sister wasn’t too fond of the beach last year and we only got a few shots of her. This year she did great and we got lots of smiles! Such gorgeous blue eyes on these two little beauties 🙂

1. FINALLY finishing my year of graces – I started in March of 2009 so it took me about 3 1/2 years 😛 I am actually going to continue my graces with each post but won’t be on a time schedule anymore 🙂
2. Speculoos Cookie Butter – yummmmmy!
3. Finalized my holiday shooting schedule today – can’t believe I’m booking holiday shoots in July! So thankful to have so many wonderful clients who keep me busy all year 🙂
4. Christian has been tipping all of his trucks so that they’re resting on their back bumpers – last night I finally figured out he was “tractor tipping” like on the movie Cars that he watches EVERY day – so cute!

5. 365 days of remembering the people and things I love and all of the little graces in my life 🙂

New little princess

A few weeks ago one of my favorite families welcomed a new little sweetie into their lives.  I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with them shortly after they got home from the hospital to get some shots of their two beautiful girls 🙂


For the most part this little gal slept like a dream – I only had a few minutes of eye contact and then she was back to snoozing 🙂

1. Took a trip to Dana Point this weekend to watch my beautiful friend marry the man of her dreams and spend a little time with the hubs
2. Christian did great at his overnight with abuelita!
3. Little man is starting school in a couple weeks – how did he grow up so fast?!
4. Christian has a major farmer’s tan – way too funny!
5. Christian sings along with me at bedtime to “You Are My Sunshine” – complete with a cha cha cha at the end – cutest thing ever!
