Brand new

A few weeks ago I got to hang out with this sweet little gal and her family for some newborn shots. Isn’t she beautiful? And big sis was so good with her 🙂

1. A sad day for us because my mother in law left to go home to Mexico after being with us off and on since Christian was born – we were truly blessed to have her here to help us with Christian – I couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker for my little guy
2. BOGO at Stride Rite – tried to put on Christian’s shoes today and they were too small – scored two new pairs for a great deal 🙂
3. Christian’s water table – a gift from Uncle Josh and he just loves it – plays with it every single day
4. Boogie wipes – so soft and keeps the nose from getting chafed
5. Shooting a few of my favorite families this weekend!

More growing . . .

Sigh . . . my little Gap baby is also growing up way too fast and now he has a gorgeous little sis that you met here 🙂 Their super talented mama has made some wonderful hand painted shirts for Christian for his birthday parties, first holidays etc 🙂 Her walls are also covered in prints from their shoots with me which just fills my heart – I love seeing what my clients do with their images <3

1. I’m a disk burning machine tonight – 7 down and 5 more to go – if you’re waiting on a disk chances are it’s going out tomorrow morning 🙂
2. Snuggling with little man on the couch after work – love that he let’s me because I know someday he will be grown and won’t want his mama hanging on him anymore 🙁
3. Big print order came in today – love seeing the super big prints that my clients are putting on their walls!
4. Honest company – ordered their sample packs to help me decide what to spend my plum voucher on and have loved all the products so far – can’t wait to order more!
5. Working on the photo cover for my new Life Planner – thanks to Dave Richards Photography I have so many wonderful images to choose from!

*** Just a note to holiday mini peeps – if the Encino day doesn’t start booking I am going to move that day to the south bay so if you’re planning on booking out in the valley do it soon!

Another three year old??

How is it that all of my sweet newborns are turning three and four already?! I was so lucky to hang with this little guy every month of his first year and a few times a year after. I cannot believe he has just turned three and is just so full of personality and of course is as cute as ever 🙂

1. Christian had a blast at Abby’s gymnastics birthday party today!
2. Lots of birthday fun for my sweet little niece
3. Ordered a car seat for my dad so he can help with school pickup 🙂
4. Abby requested mac n cheese and hot dogs for her birthday dinner – secretly one of my faves 😛
5. Got some great shots of the party – can’t wait to go through them if I ever catch up on my editing 🙂

Seashell fun!

Remember this little beauty? I got to hang out with her again a few weeks ago at the beach – we had a blast playing peek a boo and finding shells!

1. Ten holiday minis booked in the first day they were up! Going to be another busy holiday season!
2. Booked our own family holiday shoot today with the amazing Alison Kay Photography!
3. Feeling better today after a bout with summer flu this week – no fun at all!
4. Played playdough with the little guy tonight for the first time – lots of fun but too messy to take pics 🙁
5. My beautiful niece is FIVE years old today – how did the time fly by so fast? Seems like she was just this small yesterday 🙁

Holiday minis 2012!!

I know some of you are thinking it is way too early to think about the holidays but for most of us photographers the upcoming portrait season is heavy our minds. With only three full session slots left in Sept and two in Oct I had to get my holiday shoots slotted out before my schedule fills. So here you have it – holiday mini info for 2012:

Cost: $100 due up front to hold your spot and non-refundable except in the event of rain (if you can’t make the make-up day)

What you get: 40 min session at the location of my choice detailed below. I have tried to accomodate my clients in all areas – if one of the locations doesn’t book up I may move the day to another location

password protected gallery of at least 25 proofs viewable on my site for 7 days – $25 fee to repost if images are not downloaded in the 7 day period

15 high resolution images yours to download with printing rights – you may purchase additional files and/or prints

**mini sessions are for up to 5 people – if you plan on having more than 5 in your images you must book two slots
