Tiny Football Fan :)

I had the pleasure of meeting this little guy when he was just about two weeks old. His mom and dad are huge Notre Dame fans and had their gear out to take a few pics in. I have a feeling he will be watching tons of football in his lifetime 🙂 Little man slept like a dream for most of the shoot including wardrobe changes. Isn’t he the cutest little thing?

graces . . .

1. Fiesta weekend is fast approaching! Can’t wait to take my little guy now that he’s a bit older!
2. Had fun playing with the self timer on my camera yesterday – caught a few pics of my little man and I – I am never in the pics since I’m always taking them 🙂
3. When we pull into the Target parking lot Christian immediately starts chanting “cars cars” – cracks me up that he associates the two – mama must be a sucker 😛
4. Redeemed my last Plum District voucher yesterday – what a great experience – met so many great new clients from running the deal – not one regret 🙂
5. Started planning our outfits for our holiday session with the fab Alison Kay Photography coming up in just a couple of weeks! Can’t believe holiday portrait season is upon us already!

Two :)

This little guy belongs to a good friend of mine. We were pregnant at the same time and she had her son just a few weeks after Christian was born. This was our 7th or 8th shoot – not sure why none of them have made it up on the blog but I wanted to be sure and post these because he’s so stinking cute.

he kept yelling “go Kings hockey” which my brothers would just love 🙂

graces . . .

1. Seeing Christian in the window on my way up the walkway – he gets so excited when I come home 🙂
2. The canvas I ordered from our last family shoot will be here tomorrow! Can’t wait to get it up on the wall 🙂
3. Dolphin Organics – I try to use as few chemicals as possible on Christian’s skin and these are my favorite safe baby products by far – we use the lotion and shampoo and love both!
4. Despicable Me – super cute movie we all love to watch!
5. Christian seems to love his new teachers – I was worried about the transition since the school thing is still new but he didn’t blink an eye!

Sugar and Spice Take Two :)

Actually I believe this is take three but I couldn’t find this little beauty’s last shoot up on the blog for some reason. This time I did not have to chase her since she was a bit older and much more excited to have her picture taken 🙂 She brought along lots of awesome outfits for some different looks – I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites – she is just so photogenic!

graces . . .

1. Had a little time to relax with my boys this weekend after a crazy few weeks
2. Little man loved the pool at our Labor Day bbq!
3. Christian learned to say “no” – the way he says it is so cute and he uses it all the time even when he means yes – I’m sure it will get old eventually but right now I just love when he says it
4. Holiday drinks are back at Starbucks – means my favorite season is just around the corner!
5. Sticky Gram – just got my first set of magnets in the mail and absolutely love them – can’t wait to order more!

Boots and polka dots :)

A few weeks ago I got to hang out with the sweetest set of sisters (and their parents too!). I had such a hard time narrowing down my favorites from this session – I loved nearly every pic!

Is that little polka dot outfit not the cutest thing ever?!

1. A four day weekend and some time to spend with my little family <3 2. Celebrating my favorite guy for his birthday - my daddy <3 3. Christian is enjoying school now and that makes it so much easier on mommy! 4. Catching up with an old friend 5. An amazing turnout yesterday as we said goodbye to a childhood friend of mine that passed away last week. Our families camped together when we were kids and we went to middle school and high school together. Since then I would see him out and about around town and no matter how long it had been he always greeted me with a warm smile and a hug. The world has certainly lost a great man.

Ms. One-derful

This sweet little gal just turned one and I had the pleasure of hanging with her and her parents at the beach recently to document the occasion 🙂 She loved her glasses 🙂

I know I’ve said it before but I’m not really a black and white girl as I just love bright poppy color but something about these two just seemed right in black and white 🙂

graces . . .

1. Finished up my beach minis last night with a few evening sessions – thanks to everyone who came out for the beach sessions this year!
2. Have found a new favorite author thanks to a recommendation from a friend 🙂
3. Christian got an adorable Cars shirt in the mail from a friend – he loves it!
4. Four beautiful peacocks were wandering the street by the library when I pulled up for my shoot yesterday 🙂
5. Hubby is home – we missed him!
