Fences and lemons :)

A couple weeks ago I met up with this adorable brother sister duo at one of my favorite locations. We had lots of fun climbing the fences and rolling lemons around 🙂

1. The rain held off today until after my shoot 🙂
2. Totally caught up on my laundry and almost caught up on my editing I missed last week due to the nasty flu bug in our house!
3. A Panera date with my bestie – miss her so much when we go months between visits
4. Two new mini locations last week worked out great – always looking for new locations with great light all day
5. Honest Tea Half & Half – yummy 🙂

11 months :)

I can hardly believe I will see this sweet little guy for his one year shoot this weekend! His first year just flew by and I feel so blessed to have had the honor of capturing it. Here are some of my favorites from his 11 month shoot!

1. Survived this weekends 21 holiday mini sessions – half of which were shot in 90 degree heat!
2. A sweet card and present from one of my favorite clients
3. Spent my first day as a full-time photographer catching up doctors and dentist appts – I have neglected me for far too long
4. Picked up my little man early – love that I can do that now!
5. Watching Christian on the playground at school – took him about 10 min to realize I was there today and I loved seeing him have so much fun running around with his friends 🙂

A Sweet One Year Old

I had the chance to hang out with this little cutie a couple weeks ago to capture some one year portraits. He woke up extra early the day of his shoot so he didn’t last long but he gave us some great smiles!


I just love when babies grab their feet 🙂 I also love the drool in the pic to the right because it so accurately depicts the age 🙂

1. ONE more week of work and I am officially a full-time photog!
2. My sweet co-workers are planning a going away lunch for me – I will really miss my work friends 🙁 Christian and I will have to go visit often!
3. Papas who are always willing to help with school pick-up <3
4. My daily pic and text from the hubs and little guy saying they’re on their way home
5. Got Christian’s first school picture back yesterday – there were actually three poses but the other two were just so cheesy I couldn’t spend the money on them. This one definitely has the cheese factor but I just love it – I was so happy he smiled big for them – he rarely does for me 😛

isn’t he handsome?! I know I’m biased 😉

R + C = Love :)

A couple months ago I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful backyard reception for these two lovebirds. We snuck out front for a bit to take a few portraits since the afternoon light was just gorgeous. These are a couple of my favorites 🙂

They were so obviously in love – I wish them a lifetime of happiness together <3 graces . . . 1. The rain cleared up Saturday just in time for my shoot with my friend who drove all the way from Mission Viejo with her family - we ended up finding some great light! 2. Christian has a new obsession with throwing coins in the fountain - he asks every day for "coins water"
3. A beautiful weekend forecast for this weekends minis! Fingers crossed that it stays that way!
4. My big boy climbs all over the playground equipment at school and down the slide over and over – how did he get so big?!
5. Pumpkin everything season at Trader Joes – had some yummy pumpkin yogurt and cream cheese today – can’t wait to make pumpkin pancakes on Friday!
