Coming Summer 2013 :)

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this family recently to capture some of their last pictures as a family of three before they welcome baby this summer. Isn’t mama-to-be just gorgeous?!

They have chosen to be surprised about the baby’s gender – I thought this ribbon mama-to-be brought was really cute!

1. Turned 31 this week – how is that possible?? Had a wonderful birthday filled with lunches and dinners, family and friends – I am a lucky girl!
2. Caught Christian on camera singing happy birthday and wheels on the bus – cutest thing ever <3 3. When dada leaves for work Christian says he's off to make the big bucks 😛 Too funny! 4. Making big progress on little man's birthday plans! 5. Still keeping up with my 365 project - haven't kept up on my blog posts very well but I haven't missed one day of picture taking!

Two!!

Remember this little guy?? I just got to hang out with him again to capture him at two and he has grown so much! He will be a big brother in the next few months – so exciting!!

3. Making progress on my soon to be 3 year old’s birthday plans – eek! How did the time pass so quickly?!

5. Finally found a shirt for hubby to wear for our own family shoot in a few weeks – now just have to find something for myself! Can’t wait for some new Dave Richards pics on my walls!

A beautiful spring day :)

These gorgeous kiddos happen to be my cousins – or second cousins I guess since their beautiful mama is my dad’s cousin. Whatever the official title they are family 🙂 This session was a little different for me since the majority of my subject are under 5 and require convincing to smile 😉

1. Spent a wonderful weekend at the lake with my family. Christian had a blast and was thrilled that dada was able to get off Sunday to join us <3 2. After a busy weekend Christian was wiped so he played quietly today while mama caught up on editing and laundry - after 6 loads I can see the bottom of one hamper! 3. Seaside Lagoon is open for the summer as of this weekend! 4. Watched this video the other day about an amazing guy. Watch it – I promise it will change you.

Sweet curls and baby blues

I realized after an interaction on Facebook yesterday that I forgot to post my favorites of this beautiful family! We hung out a couple months ago at one of my favorite locations in the valley – I just love the fencing and the soft light at this spot 🙂

1. Learned some new editing tricks from a friend and fellow photographer that have sped up my process and are allowing me to get unburied – forever grateful to him
2. A late Mother’s Day lunch date with my hubby yesterday – we haven’t spent any time together in ages because of his work schedule
3. Christian sings Baa Baa Black Sheep all the time now – it’s super cute!
4. Had a new type of gig this week and it went really well – I was nervous because it involved about 100 kiddos but it ran smoothly!
5. Hubby attempted to pick out a new wallet for me for Mother’s Day – it was a little off style wise for my taste but he gets an A for effort <3
