This was my first time hanging out with this little sweetie and her parents. She was a bit on the shy side but we did manage to get a few smiles 🙂

1. Looking forward to lunch on Friday with a friend I haven’t seen in a long time – we have a lot to catch up on!
2. Found a new pair of chucks in my closet that have been in there for who knows how long – only thing better than new chucks is new flip flops 😉
3. All of the funny little things Christian says – seems like he has a new line every day – very entertaining to say the least 😛
4. My mom is home safely after a two week work trip to Seattle and Alaska – we miss her when she is gone!
5. Played a little football with the little guy this am in our living room – that kid can throw a ball!

Four!

If you follow my blog you know I have been watching this little beauty grow up since she was just 3 months old. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful clients that come back year after year <3

I am totally jealous of her lashes!

1. That in sad times and hard times and conflicted times you learn who your true friends really are. I am lucky to have a couple great friends I can always count on <3 2. Celebrated the life of my uncle on Saturday with family I don't see often enough. Going to make a huge effort to be more like him and focus on the things that are really important things in life 3. Put up a few small Halloween decorations today and you would have thought it was Christmas when we got home - Christian was so excited - glad I decided to pull out of my funk and get in the spirit 4. My living room is organized - for today at least 5. Holiday portrait season is underway - hoping that the early start this year makes it easier to keep up 🙂

Curls and baby dolls :)

This was my first time meeting this adorable little girl and her parents and she just might have been the most cooperative two year old I’ve ever shot. She pretty much did whatever I asked and lasted over an hour and through a clothing change! Here are some of my favorites 🙂

1. Tried out my 100mm macro lens for portraits today after reading a bunch of reviews that it was a great portrait lens – it didn’t disappoint!
2. First holiday session of the season this weekend!
3. Watching Christian and my mom pillow fight – too funny 😛
4. Hubby is gearing up for his new iphone tomorrow – it’s like Christmas eve tonight in the Saldana house!
5. Dexter finale Sunday – can’t wait to see how they wrap it up – still sad that it’s over though 🙁

An evening at the beach

You’ve probably noticed I don’t shoot at the beach that often in the evening – after this session I don’t know why – the light was just gorgeous and the beach was clear of the crowds that I have to shoot around in the morning 😛 This is quite possibly the most images I’ve shared from a session – I just couldn’t narrow them any more – I loved nearly every single shot of this gorgeous family.

1. Christian floated on his back for 13 seconds at swim today! This is huge considering he refused to float on his back until just a few weeks ago

Sticks and a fire truck :)

Yikes it has been awhile since I have posted – life has been pretty nutty lately and I haven’t had time to post but I will try to get as many of my recent sessions up as I can before the busy holiday season starts in a few weeks – how did that happen already?? Remember this gorgeous couple? Well the time flies and their little guy is ONE! Here are some favorites from his session – he was a bit shy so dad popped in a few pics to help get smiles 🙂

his shirt is kind of hard to read but it was so perfect I had to share one – it says “brave men run in my family” 🙂

1. There is currently a dinosaur in my living room – I brought out a costume I bought last year after Halloween in hopes that Christian would fit in it this year and he has not taken it off since I tried it on him – guess he likes it 🙂
2. Christian rode the jet skis last weekend for the first time (in the 5 mile an hour zone :P) and loved it! Dada even let him steer 🙂
3. Survived our first major accident and stitches after Christian fell at my moms and split his ear open. My little guy was so brave – not one tear during the stitches or even for the four numbing shots before! Mama on the other hand almost passed out – thank goodness for Grandma who kept her calm!
4. Just about fully booked for the holiday portrait season – looking forward to seeing so many of my favorites and meeting some new families as well
5. Diapers.com is amazing – great customer service, free shipping at just $35 and my order is almost always on my doorstep the next day 🙂
