Tutus and Lightpoles :)

A few weeks ago I got to hang out with one of my favorite families – you may remember them from this post. I have seen them quite a few times in between these posts but I am terrible at keeping up this poor blog 😛

graces . . .

1. Ellie will be well dressed thanks to some awesome hand me downs from the beauties in this post <3 2. Clients turned friends - thankful to have a few of them 🙂 3. Watching my little clients grow and change over the years 4. Trying out a new spring mini location this year - I have shot there before but never done minis there so we will see how it goes! 5. One more family day tomorrow before I head back to work next week 🙁

More Family Fun!

This was my first time hanging out with this gorgeous family. I don’t shoot a ton of older kids so it was a fun change to not have to chase them around 😉

1. Currently addicted to instagram shops – particularly ones that sell moccs and leggings – I can’t believe how many talented crafty mamas there are out there!
2. Dinner dates and train rides with good friends <3 3. My new Erin Condren planner – love a fresh new planner and added bonus that my babies are on the cover 🙂
4. Lots of birthdays to celebrate this month!
5. Got to snuggle my good friends new little guy this week – can’t believe my little gal was that small just a few weeks ago!

Family fun!

Remember this little guy? He’s a big brother now and I got to hang out with his family again just before the holidays 🙂 I think it might have been the hottest day of the year or maybe it just felt like it since I was 8 months pregnant but the kiddos were troopers and we got a lot of great shots!

Baby girl is a great sleeper and so happy and smiley when she's awake 🙂 4. 5. Christian is the sweetest big brother – always talking to baby and asking how she is etc. <3

Spring Minis 2015!

Can’t believe it’s time to think about spring minis already! Spring minis will be a bit earlier this year due to some weekend commitments I have in late March – dates and times are below. If you’re not familiar with spring minis – they are not themed/styled sessions. They are a shorter lifestyle type session and are perfect for updating your family pics or getting some new shots of your kiddos since they grow and change so quickly! Minis are for 5 people max (immediate family only) and there are no clothing changes allowed due to time constraints.

What: 30 min session and 12 edited full resolution digital files
Cost: $125

Happy 2015!!

I can hardly believe my last post to my poor neglected blog was half a year ago – the time really flies by so quickly and the second half of last year was so busy with preparation for baby amidst a ton of holiday sessions and minis – way more than I intended to do 8 months pregnant but I survived and baby arrived healthy mid November. I am back in the swing of things – shooting while learning to balance being a mama to two! While 2015 sessions are already underway, I am going to go back and post a few of my favorite sessions from the last few months starting with this one. I was contacted about doing an extended family shoot at a 90th birthday celebration – shooting large groups always makes me nervous – that’s a lot of people to get looking at the camera and smiling! But once I arrived I instantly felt at ease – the family was so sweet and so much fun – especially the littlest guy who you’ll see a lot of below 🙂

1. Early holiday portrait season = I finally got to relax a bit and enjoy the holidays with my family. Just may start early every year!
2. Welcomed a beautiful baby girl to our family. I was so so worried about adjusting to two kiddos but the transition has been much easier than expected – she fits in perfectly 🙂
3. Christian absolutely loves his baby sister and is so great with her <3 4. My big guy turned 4.5 this month - I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone and how smart and grown up he is. Watching him grow and learn is truly amazing. 5. Bookings for 2015 are well on their way - looking forward to another fun year of capturing memories!
