My sweet little guy,
Today you woke up an 8 year old! I don’t know how that happened so quickly – seems like just yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital – new parents that had no idea what we were doing. You have grown and changed so much over the past year and we are so proud of you. You just finished up first grade with almost all perfect grades – school seems to come easy for you, especially math and I’m hoping you continue to enjoy it and do well through out the years. You started wearing glasses this year after your teacher noticed you were having trouble seeing the board and we think they make you look very handsome <3 You opted out of baseball this year in favor of spring soccer - your first time playing on a team after taking classes at galaxy for years and you loved it - you requested to play again this fall. You love all things video game and mario right now, love watching your ipad and having movie or game nights with dada. You continue to take drum classes after school and just started taekwondo and are really liking it so far. You love our Friday night dinner dates with friends at chick fil a or lamppost - you guys are just about too big for the play place at chick fil a though so we may need to find a new spot soon! You have a busy schedule but seem to love it - and we love watching you try new things. This coming year will bring some changes as your best friend just moved out of state - I know you will miss our constant play dates and hanging out with Austin in and out of school but we hope to visit him soon and I'm glad you can keep in touch via Facetime.
Happy Birthday to our first baby - we can't wait to see what this year brings for you - watching you grow and learn is so much fun.
